By accessing or using Palate ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Palate is a dining intelligence platform that discovers your dining history across restaurant and delivery platforms by reading confirmation emails from your Gmail account. We build a personal dining profile including your favorite restaurants, cuisine preferences, and dining patterns.
You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use Palate.
Palate requests read-only access to your Gmail account. We only search for emails from known dining platforms and never modify, delete, or send emails. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.
You retain ownership of your data. We process your dining emails to build your profile, but we do not claim ownership of any information extracted from your emails. You can delete all your data at any time from the Settings page. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.
You agree not to:
Palate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of extracted dining data, restaurant information, or recommendations. Dining data is extracted from emails using automated processing and may contain errors.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Palate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
